Membership is open to everyone, whether you are based within Oluyole Local Government or not. You need to pay the one-time registration fee, complete your enrolment profile, and be verified by your assigned unit executive.

Membership starts with a one-time registration fee of ₦5,000, and a minimum monthly savings commitment of ₦10,000. The full schedule approved at the annual general meeting is below.

Maximum credit limit

Members may borrow up to twice their accumulated savings balance.

Sureties required

At least two active members must stand as sureties.

Effective 1 January 2026 · approved at AGM

Loans are completely interest-free. Your Maximum Credit Limit is 2× your savings balance, disbursable over 6 to 12 months. You must provide at least two registered, active cooperative members as sureties. Sureties carry secondary liability for the borrowing, and defaults are handled by the Secretariat recovery department.

Dividends are declared at the annual general meeting and distributed in proportion to each member’s shareholding and savings balance for that financial year.

Yes. A member may withdraw by giving written notice to the secretariat. Savings and shares are refunded after outstanding loan obligations are settled, in line with the society’s bye-laws.
